Here are some insights of me about some good or bad courses in HKUST.
MATH2411: Applied Statistics (Taken in: 2024-25 Summer)
Math course which is the "required" but "elective" course for COMP requirement. Have a better grading than the
notorious chain of MATH1013-MATH1014 (at least in Summer). Include topics like statistical inference, probability, point and interval estimation, hypothesis testing.
In this semester, the course is taught by Professor HU Yu and IA Phyllis Liang.
